Welcome to GenXinks: an abbreviation of Gen X with an Income and No Kids.  This is a blog created primarily for women who, like me, are living a childfree lifestyle, either through circumstances or by choice and consider themselves part of Generation X - those born between 1965-1982, who reached adulthood before mobile phones and the Internet dominated our daily lives.

While younger generations' needs seem satiated by an endless supply of Instagram feeds and Tik-Tok videos (I don't even have an account for either!) and there are a multitude of forums out there for parents, there seemed to be a dearth of media on the Internet for ladies over 40, who have some disposable time and income, but may not be quite ready or financially able to retire!
